IR Sauna

Infrared Sauna - Full Spectrum

 

Unlike a traditional sauna, an INFRARED (IR) SAUNA allows for lower temperatures, which is perfect for individuals who have heat intolerance. IR Saunas use light waves (mid and far) to heat the body directly.

Traditional saunas heat the air that surrounds (oven-effect) which is why they can reach intense temperatures of 190-200F. Infrared saunas heat the body directly using light waves that heat water molecules inside your body (microwave-effect). They have lower operating temperatures of 125-160F and can be more efficient at making individuals sweat.

Near-Infrared

The shortest wavelength, and will be absorbed just below the surface of the skin creating a sweat that promotes healing and revitalization.

Mid-Infrared

A longer wavelength can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue increasing circulation, releasing oxygen to reach injured areas.

Far-Infrared

The longest wavelength penetrates the fat cells causing vasodilation, where the fat cells vibrate to expel toxins, resulting in the greatest levels of detoxification and stimulate your metabolism to aide in weight-loss.
