What’s the difference between IV Nutrition, IV Drip, and IV Hydration?

IV nutrition, IV drips, and IV hydration are essentially the SAME things—they are “dripping” fluids intravenously (into your vein). IV hydration usually refers to using hydration bags such as normal saline, or Lactaid ringers (some electrolytes). IV nutrition has specific nutrients (can vary) that are added to the hydration bag. Any “IV drip” or “IV hydration” contains fluids and/or nutrients that are directly delivered into your blood to make it easier for the cells to use apart from bypassing digestion/liver processing.

Our nursing staff is specifically trained in functional and integrative medicine, and continually is learning about the most effective treatments and nutrients needed to support your goals! We tailor each IV (or IV drip) to our client’s needs—no two are identical.

We also help you troubleshoot and give you specific recommendations on how to improve problem areas like poor quality sleep, low energy/fatigue, anxiety, etc.
