Sauna FAQs

1. What type of sauna do you have?

We use state-of-the-art Clearlight infrared saunas designed to gently raise your core temperature for deep relaxation and detoxification without the intense heat of traditional dry or steam saunas.

2. What are the benefits of using the sauna?

Regular sauna sessions may help:

  • Support detoxification through sweat

  • Improve circulation and oxygen flow

  • Reduce muscle and joint soreness

  • Promote relaxation and better sleep

  • Support immune function

  • Enhance skin tone and clarity

3. How long should a session last?

Typical sessions last 30–45 minutes, depending on your tolerance and goals. If you’re new to infrared therapy, start with 20–25 minutes and build up gradually.

4. How often should I sauna?

For general wellness, 2–4 sessions per week is ideal. Athletes or individuals focused on recovery may benefit from more frequent use. Always listen to your body and stay hydrated.

5. What should I wear (or not wear)?

Most guests choose to sauna nude or in minimal clothing (like a swimsuit or towel). We recommend light, breathable fabrics or towels — avoid heavy clothing that blocks infrared heat.

6. How should I prepare before my sauna session?

  • Hydrate well before your appointment.

  • Avoid alcohol or heavy meals right before.

  • Bring water or electrolyte drink to sip during your session. We also sell a variety of electrolytes and minerals.

  • Remove makeup, lotions, or oils that can block pores. We provide makeup remover to help with this.

7. What should I do after my sauna?

  • Cool down slowly — avoid jumping into cold air right away.

  • Rehydrate with water or electrolyte minerals. Some of our clients love using green tea or juices as well!

  • Allow your body to rest and enjoy the relaxation benefits.

  • Many clients love to pair sauna with a float or IV session for enhanced recovery.

8. Can I sauna if I’m pregnant or have a medical condition?

If you are pregnant, nursing, or have cardiovascular or chronic health conditions, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.
We’ll happily answer questions to help you make an informed decision.

9. Can I bring my phone or music?

We recommend using this time as a digital detox — to truly relax and recharge. If you wish to listen to music, please bring your own ear buds. Otherwise, phones must be silenced in our float and sauna suite to ensure other clients have a peaceful environment.

10. How clean are the saunas?

Cleanliness is our priority. We require that clients sit on towels during their session to help preserve the cedar wood and maintain its cleanliness. Each sauna is wiped down with non-toxic cleaners between clients. We HIGHLY recommend clients shower AFTER their sauna to help remove toxins that were excreted through their skin. We also provide body wipes in the event you are short on time or have a preference.

11. Should I sauna before or after other Elevate services?

It depends on your goal:

  • Before float or massage: helps loosen muscles and deepen relaxation

  • Before IV : helps open and stimulate circulation

  • After redlight or mHBOT: enhances recovery and detox response

We can help you plan the perfect combination!

12. What should I bring?

  • Water bottle

  • Comfortable change of clothes

  • Optional: book, journal, or meditative playlist

13. What temperature do you keep the sauna?

Our saunas typically operate between 120°F and 150°F, adjustable to your comfort. Infrared heat warms the body from the inside out, making it more tolerable than traditional high-heat saunas.
